Inclusivity in the Metaverse? Meet the eco-friendly shop with a mission!
Circular. Eco-friendly without the corners is Interzero's innovative public education campaign promoting the idea of a circular economy.
It is a shop concept set in the Metaverse to teach the public which packaging is more environmentally friendly. It is a project created in collaboration with Studio A8 Architecture.
The main idea behind the project was to create a virtual space that would act as a sustainable shop of the future. Its body is based on a circle, symbolising a closed circuit. Inside it, we find shelves on which we place examples of products available on the market that have ecological packaging.
A walk-through of Okraglak is not just about packaging, but also about all the ideas we had in mind when we created the place, ready to be implemented in the real world - such as providing customers with a station to refill their containers with their favourite product, ensuring access to fresh, seasonal produce and adapting the shop for people with disabilities.
