Save Poland's ecosystems
Save Poland's ecosystems
An ecosystem is an ecological system made up of the animate and inanimate parts of a certain environmental space. There are a number of relationships between the organisms that inhabit a space that allow them to function in harmony and balance.
Loss of biodiversity is the greatest threat to the proper functioning of life on our planet. We should be aware that by neglecting the environment, we are also harming ourselves.
Interzero's aim is to reduce the negative influences on our environment. That is why, together with the Royal Lazienki Museum and UNEP/GRID-Warsaw, we joined forces in the Re:Generation programme and took care of the ecosystem in Warsaw's Lazienki Park - Chestnut Alley, whose condition was deteriorating significantly from year to year. We hope that thanks to our efforts, the area will serve us and future generations for as long as possible.
We invite you to watch a short filmin which Monika Krysztofińska talks about our collaboration on the Re:Generation project. We hope to do a lot more good for the environment in 2023.
We encourage you to join the action.

Segregate batteries and accumulators correctly!
Segregate batteries and accumulators correctly!
Batteries and rechargeable batteries are used by society every day - from small devices like torches, phones, toys or laptops to larger mechanisms like lawnmowers and cars. However, few people realise how dangerous it is to dispose of them incorrectly when they run out.
Interzero has developed an animation to show the problem in an accessible way, demonstrating the consequences of disposing of used batteries and accumulators in, for example, mixed waste. Batteries and accumulators are a source of many heavy metals such as lead, mercury, nickel and zinc. These components are not neutralised in the environment, and their release poses a serious threat to the entire ecosystem. Some raw materials can lead to soil and groundwater contamination.
Therefore, batteries and rechargeable batteries should only be disposed of in dedicated containers or handed in at selective municipal waste collection points (PSZOK). By recycling, we are able to recover most of the components from them and reuse them for further items.
We encourage you to watch a short video animation HERE and to reflect on the seriousness of the problem.
Anna Grom in the ranking of 100 business women - among companies with sales revenue below PLN 50 million
Anna Grom in the ranking of 100 business women - among companies with sales revenue below PLN 50 million
Although the market for Polish small and medium-sized enterprises has changed very dynamically in recent years, running a business still remains the domain of men. Although Poland has constitutional gender equality and women account for nearly half of the workforce, those aspiring to higher positions in business must sometimes break through the glass ceiling.
Puls Biznesu notices and appreciates the role of women in the management of companies in Poland, promoting their entrepreneurship in the world of Polish business and inspiring them to remain active and pursue their goals and dreams. The '100 Women in Business' ranking is made up of one hundred women who manage companies with the highest sales and profit dynamics in the last two years. We are pleased to announce that Anna Grom was ranked 24th in this ranking among companies with sales revenue below PLN 50 million. Our sincere congratulations!
As a reminder, Anna Grom not only represents Interzero's management in Poland, but is also Head of Interzero Circular Solutions Europe and President of the Lewiatan Confederation on behalf of the Polish Association of Private Employers of Trade and Services.
We invite you to read a recent interview with Anna Grom for the Now Environment portal under link and we invite you to watch a short speech by Interzero's CEO, who talks about our company's goals and mission - here.
