The deposit system in Poland
Pursuant to the amendment to the Act on Packaging and Packaging Waste Management and certain other acts, from 2025 a deposit system will be introduced in Poland, covering single- and reusable beverage packaging. The regulations are addressed to producers introducing drinks in packages and distributors of drinks in packages covered by a deposit and impose a number of new legal obligations on them.

Reports and certificates
We prove our customers’ contribution to protection climate: once a year, the renowned Fraunhofer UMSICHT institute evaluates the effects of ALBA Group’s recycling activities in the field of environmental protection. In 2020 alone, we recovered nearly 3.5 million tons of recyclables in Germany, Austria, Poland and Slovenia, saving approximately 28.8 million tons of virgin raw materials.
