These obligations result from the Environmental Protection Act and apply not only to companies, but also to institutions, individuals and other entities using the environment.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><script id=\"script-row-unique-0\" data-row=\"script-row-unique-0\" type=\"text\/javascript\" class=\"vc_controls\">UNCODE.initRow(document.getElementById(\"row-unique-0\"));<\/script><\/div><\/div><\/div><div data-parent=\"true\" class=\"vc_row row-container\" id=\"row-unique-1\"><div class=\"row limit-width row-parent\"><div class=\"wpb_row row-inner\"><div class=\"wpb_column pos-top pos-center align_left column_parent col-lg-12 single-internal-gutter\"><div class=\"uncol style-light\"  ><div class=\"uncoltable\"><div class=\"uncell no-block-padding\" ><div class=\"uncont\" ><div class=\"vc_custom_heading_wrap\"><div class=\"heading-text el-text\" ><\/p>\n<h2><strong>What is an environmental report?<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>\n<\/div><div class=\"clear\"><\/div><\/div><div class=\"uncode_text_column\" ><p>The report on the use of the environment is a document prepared annually by companies, institutions and individuals using the environment. It contains <strong>information on the extent to which a given entity used the environment and the amount of fees<\/strong> it should pay for this. <\/p>\n<p>The report on the use of the environment may consist of one or more lists - their number and type depend on the type of activity conducted by the entity and the extent to which it used the environment.<\/p>\n<\/div><div class=\"vc_custom_heading_wrap\"><div class=\"heading-text el-text\" ><\/p>\n<h2><strong>Who must submit a report on the use of the environment?<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>\n<\/div><div class=\"clear\"><\/div><\/div><div class=\"uncode_text_column\" ><p>A report on the use of the environment is required to be submitted <strong>by entities that<\/strong> in a given calendar year:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>released gases or dust into the air<\/strong> from various processes (e.g. from boiler rooms, use of company combustion vehicles, poultry farming or breeding),<\/li>\n<li><strong>were issued emission allowances<\/strong> ,<\/li>\n<li><strong>stored waste<\/strong> .<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>These entities include:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>entrepreneurs (also foreign ones),<\/li>\n<li>organisational units that are not entrepreneurs (e.g. foundations, associations, schools),<\/li>\n<li>persons conducting agricultural production activities, e.g. agricultural cultivation, animal breeding or husbandry, horticulture, market gardening, forestry and inland fishing,<\/li>\n<li>other natural persons who use the environment to the extent that this requires a permit.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Importantly, there is no obligation to submit a report if the calculated annual fee for one type of use of the environment does not exceed PLN 100.<\/p>\n<\/div><div class=\"vc_custom_heading_wrap\"><div class=\"heading-text el-text\" ><\/p>\n<h2><strong>By when should information on the use of the environment be submitted for 2024?<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>\n<\/div><div class=\"clear\"><\/div><\/div><div class=\"uncode_text_column\" ><p>The report on the use of the environment for a given calendar year must be submitted by 31 March of the following calendar year.<\/p>\n<p>This means that the deadline for submitting the report on the use of the environment for 2024 expires <strong>on 31 March 2025.<\/strong> We remind you that the deadline for paying the fees calculated in the report expires on the same day! <\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/interzero.pl\/en\/blog\/environmental-fee-2024-and-2025-the-most-important-information-for-entrepreneurs\/\">Find out more about the environmental fee &gt;&gt;<\/a><\/p>\n<\/div><div class=\"vc_custom_heading_wrap\"><div class=\"heading-text el-text\" ><\/p>\n<h2><strong>How to submit a report on the use of the environment?<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>\n<\/div><div class=\"clear\"><\/div><\/div><div class=\"uncode_text_column\" ><p>The report on the use of the environment is submitted to the marshal of the voivodeship competent for the place of use of the environment:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>in person (during a visit to the Marshal's Office),<\/li>\n<li>by letter,<\/li>\n<li>electronically (via ePUAP), by signing the document with a qualified signature or trusted profile.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Entities using the environment can also <strong>entrust the preparation and submission of the list of the scope of use of the environment to Interzero experts<\/strong> .
