All food products (including perishable products, such as bread, dairy, meat, fruit and vegetables) can be donated to such a bank at least 2 days before their expiration date. There are 31 such banks in Poland. <a href=\"https:\/\/bankizywnosci.pl\/kontakt\/banki-zywnosci\/\">See the map of Food Banks<\/a> .  <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Facebook groups and local forums<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Food sharing is also possible through social media and local groups, which you can find under the names: <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>online food hall, foodsharing, freeganism,<\/li>\n<li>I will give it back, watch out, the garbage truck is coming (or simply: the garbage truck),<\/li>\n<li>we don&#8217;t waste food.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Caritas Poland Branches<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Caritas has long been actively working to help those in need, while also preventing food waste. Local Caritas branches often accept unnecessary food that has been sitting in the fridge, for example after the holidays or an event. It is worth contacting the nearest Caritas branch and donating food to them, which will then be given to those in need.  <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Facilities for people in homelessness crisis<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Surplus food from the holidays is also readily accepted by shelters and shelters for people in homelessness crisis. To w\u0142a\u015bnie do niego powinno trafi\u0107 niepotrzebne, zepsute lub przeterminowane jedzenie, jednak z pewnymi wyj\u0105tkami. <strong>Resztki mi\u0119sa, w\u0119dlin oraz ko\u015bci to odpady zmieszane<\/strong>, podobnie z reszt\u0105 jak jajka, sery i inne produkty pochodzenia zwierz\u0119cego.
